Warranty

Every Condessa piece is thoughtfully crafted using 925 sterling silver, a fine jewellery standard known for its quality, longevity, and softness against the skin. Most of our pieces are coated in over 1 micron of 18k gold, offering a durable yet delicate finish. We never compromise on comfort: all our pieces are hypoallergenic, nickel-free, and lead-free, so you can wear them close, every day.

Our pieces are also finished with a protective layer to help preserve their beauty, but like all jewelry, they thrive best with gentle care and intention.

Coverage

We offer the following warranty periods depending on the collection:

  • Stainless Steel Collection: 6-month warranty from date of purchase
  • All Other Pieces: 3-month warranty from date of purchase

This covers any manufacturing faults or defects present at the time of purchase.

What’s Covered:

  • Manufacturing defects (e.g. faulty clasps, prong issues, incorrect finishes)
  • Fading of plating only in waterproof-designated pieces, when sterling silver begins to show

What’s Not Covered:

  • General wear and tear
  • Chain breakage due to pulling or force
  • Tarnishing or discoloration from exposure to chemicals (perfume, sanitiser, cleaning products, etc.)
  • Bent, engraved, altered or damaged items
  • Loss, misuse, or improper care
  • Scratches or wearing of plating from friction or contact with rough surfaces

Jewellery Care Notes

To ensure your jewellery lasts beautifully:

  • Remove before swimming or showering (unless listed as waterproof)
  • Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and cleaning products
  • Store in your Amaryllis Jane pouch or box, away from humidity
  • Gently polish with a soft cloth to restore shine

Tarnishing may occur naturally over time, especially when exposed to acidic skin types, harsh products, or humidity.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your piece has a manufacturing fault:

  1. Email our team at hello@condessa.com.au
  2. Include your order number, full name, and detailed images of the issue
  3. We’ll assess your request within 3–5 business days

If deemed a manufacturing defect, we’ll offer either a replacement or store credit. Please ensure proof of purchase is retained, as we are unable to process claims without it.
